This issue exists long time ago, while you add .Net Framework 2.0 component into your XPe image configuration, you will not be able to post install .Net Framework 3.0 or 3.5 manually. Because the installsheild cannot remove .Net Framework 2.0 successfully, your installation process will be failed. Here is the solution to resolve this kind of problem.

1. Delete OCM=1 in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v2.0.50727

2. Reboot & install .Net Framework 3.0 or 3.5
